LOCAL EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH FOR BOURNE BRAVES

Bourne, MA - Convention Data Services' employee of the year, Milo Caruso, a resident of East Falmouth will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Bourne Braves game on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 7:00pm at Doran Park in Bourne. For over eight years, Convention Data Services (CDS), one of the largest private employers on Cape Cod has been a supporter and sponsor of the Bourne Braves, part of the renowned Cape Cod Baseball League which is the #1 summer collegiate league in the country.

"Our company is pleased to offer ongoing support to such a worthwhile organization", says Doug Levinson, CEO, Convention Data Services.

Employee of the Year Caruso, a web developer for the company, was chosen for the award for utilizing his personal strengths and having the ability to think "outside the box" to achieve the everyday goals of the company's clients. His is recognized for his generally positive and realistic outlook, regardless of the situation. Convention Data Services' management and employees will be on hand on August 6th to honor Caruso and cheer on the Braves.

The Bourne Braves are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that works tirelessly year round providing the community with a summer full of free entertainment for the entire family and sponsoring local programs such as school reading programs, youth clinics, scholarships and more. The Braves rely solely on the donations of private citizens and sponsorships from local businesses.

For over two decades, Convention Data Services has been providing state-of-the-art registration, database management, exhibitor lead retrieval services and event marketing to the national and international tradeshow industry serving the needs of businesses and non-profit associations.
