BOURNE - The Braves are in the playoff hunt. Paced by another solid start from Nick McCully, Bourne leapfrogged Hyannis and moved into a tie with Falmouth for second place in the West.

McCully (Coastal Carolina) kept his perfect record and picked up his fifth win, scattering four hits and allowing one run over six innings.

Bourne (22-20-1) put up three runs in the first on run-scoring singles by Kyle Roller (East Carolina) and Ross Wilson (Alabama). Wilson later scored on a wild pitch.

Bourne scored its final two runs in the fourth, an inning that included a run-scoring double by Jamie Johnson (Oklahoma).

Y-D (18-24-1) scored its lone run in the first inning on doubles by Keenan Wiley (Kentucky) and Tony Sanchez (Boston College).
