College Catch-Up: How Braves players have done in February

The NCAA college baseball season is upon us, and, for fans of the Cape Cod Baseball League, that means summer baseball is almost here.

The back-to-back reigning champion Bourne Braves currently has 42 players on its anticipated Opening Day roster.

Through February the Braves roster features 16 players on teams represented in the USA TODAY Sports Baseball Coaches Poll.

Here is a check-in on how some of this season’s Braves are faring in the month of February.

Infielder Marek Houston (Wake Forest) has had a standout start to the 2024 season, hitting .323, and slugging .452, with four doubles, eight walks, and nine runs scored. His bat is one of the reasons the Demon Deacons are off to a 7-1 start.
